Step 1: Access Your Gusto Account

If you don't use Gusto yet, visit the Gusto website and set up your company. Once payroll is configured, log in with an admin account.

Step 2: Authorise Euphoria via Gusto OAuth

Gusto connects through a secure OAuth flow. When you start the setup, you'll sign in to Gusto and approve read-only access to payroll runs, employees and contractor payments.

Step 3: Configure Gusto in Euphoria

In Euphoria, go to Settings, open Integrations and click Connect on the Gusto card. Approve access, pick the company you want to sync and Euphoria will import past payroll runs.

Step 4: Map Employees, Departments & Payroll

Match Gusto employees, contractors and departments to the right records in Euphoria. Map wages, taxes, benefits and reimbursements to separate accounts so every payroll run is posted as a clean, detailed journal entry in your books.

Step 5: Test the Integration

Run a sync after your next payroll or use a past run as a test. Check that gross pay, employer taxes and net pay totals in Euphoria match the payroll summary inside Gusto.

Step 6: Additional Configuration (If Applicable)

Choose whether to sync payroll as summary or per-employee entries, set the posting date rule and enable notifications whenever a new payroll run is imported into Euphoria for review.
